I am here because … this is a shining example of what a shared stewardship model looks like. We love and want to see this replicated elsewhere in the State.
It is a space that matters to me. When you spend a lot of time in areas as pretty as this … Start to get a sense of responsibility. That’s WHY.
Trail advocacy is really important. It really is a cooperative relationship with park agencies and trail users. It is a special gift to be a part of this event … one of my favorite trails.
Been coming to this park for 25 years … Found out that most trail work is done by Volunteers … Decided to be part of the solution. That’s WHY I am here.
Love to take care of the park. Taking the responsibility for the park you hike, bike, or ride your horse in is huge. This is everyone’s park.
It takes maintenance … and dedication to keep trails accessible for everyone. Great to be out here with so many volunteers. We all use these trails. It is about Community and Connection.
I am here to give back. Want to make sure everyone can enjoy them no matter the user group.

Lucky to live where we live … a lot of trails can’t be explored on a bike … want kids to be able to appreciate the trails.
