Save the Date: Saturday, November 15th Kicks Off Dig Days Season Three

Mount Diablo Trails Alliance (MDTA) is proud to announce that the first California State Parks (CSP) Dig Day of Season Three at Mount Diablo State Park will be held on Saturday, November 15.

The eventbrite-powered registration will open on MDTA’s website by the end of the month. The serviced trail will be the upper portion of Devil’s Slide Trail (near Knobcone Road), which is an important connector trail near Rock City.

Dig Day operating hours will be from 10:00AM to 3:00PM. The registration desk at Curry Point Staging Area will open at 9:00AM to account for the 20-minutes hike to the Dig Day work site.

Join us and help build a sustainable Shared Stewardship model with California State Parks.

Since October 2023, more than 900 volunteers have helped service more than 10 miles of trail tread at Mount Diablo State Park. This community-powered trails stewardship has contributed to more durable, accessible trails, while helping reduce natural and user-caused impact on watershed, flora and fauna resources.
